A Second Chance

NZ Blood came to us seeking a way to drive blood donations. With budget for a video production, we got to thinking what angle we can drive home that might push people to donate for the first time.

After assessing stories from blood donation recipients, we realised that plenty of patients had a complete change of heart after receiving new blood. We looked at this as a second chance at life, one that can only be given with the gift of blood. We got to work creating an animated short showing off how a simple blood donation can have a butterfly effect in changing someone’s whole world.

Backing this up were in-store materials showing how there were plenty of stories just like Jeff’s, where patients have had a second chance at life thanks to the generosity of Kiwi donors.
