King’s College
Rebrand

King's College has a reputation as one of Auckland’s top schools for producing outstanding success stories, but also as one that had become stale and old fashioned. King’s College also knew a rebrand was in order to refresh the attitudes people had towards the school and to highlight their move towards the future of New Zealand education.

They tasked us to come up with a new brand and matching ad campaign to push King’s back to the top of mind, running across both outdoor/billboard and magazine targets.

We focused on the idea that one ‘Finds themselves’ at Kings - a place where young students begin to form the career path they will travel on for the rest of their lives. This also worked as a play on words, with our goal being that more people would literally find themselves enrolled at King’s College.

We highlighted this in the ad campaign with the double exposure effect, highlighting the transition from student to leaders of tomorrow. By taking elements from the college’s heritage, and blending them with a modernised and minimalist rebranding for the school, we helped solidify King’s College’s place as one of the leading educational institutions in the country.
